Lag Problems – Steps to Solve

If for any reason you notice that there is a datafeed delay (Lag) problem on your trading platform “PLEASE STOP TRADING IMMEDIATELY” and follow these steps below

Restart your computer, modem and router.

Run an internet speed test (speedtest.net).

Are you using a remote connection or wifi? (we do not recommend this).

Check your task manager (Windows) and check the Processes and Performance tabs.

Do you have too many applications open? Is your RAM overloaded?

Do you have too many trading platforms running simultaneously on the same system? Try loading less charts and less historical data.

Note: these types of failures do not manifest in SIM as the orders are sitting on your computer and no orders are being sent to the real market.
