What is the goal of consistency?

The consistency target is a fundamental performance measure designed to assess a trader’s ability to consistently generate profits while effectively managing risk. In order to successfully meet this target and pass the AeroTrading evaluation account, it is imperative that the profits made on your best trading day do not represent more than 50% of your total accumulated profits over the evaluation period. In other words, if your most profitable trading day generates profits equal to or greater than 50% of your total profits, you will be required to continue trading until the profits from your best trading day fall below the 50% threshold.

To provide traders with a clear guide to setting achievable daily profit targets, a table has been created that demonstrates how the consistency target is calculated. It is calculated by examining the total profits within the evaluation account and determining the level of daily profits that should not be exceeded.

Calculating the consistency target is simple. It is determined by looking at the profits made on your best trading day and comparing them to the total profits in your trading account. To meet the consistency target, your best trading day must generate profits that represent less than 50% of your total account profits.

Calculation: Best Day Profit ÷ Overall Profit = Best Day % of Total Profit
